Crazy to think my practices in Baltimore are coming to an end. Growing up, if my sisters and I weren’t at home, more than likely we would be at Meadowbrook. NBAC is like my second home. I’ve spent my entire career swimming at Meadowbrook except for my time in Ann Arbor, between Athens and Beijing. I first learned to swim at Meadowbrook when I was 7 years old!

We had a bit of spare time this weekend, so I thought I would share what I do on one of my days off. The NCAA team and coaches were down in LA racing at Pac-10s, which left the post grad swimmers (guys who had exhausted NCAA eligibility) with a weekend free of practices. I suppose we could have hopped in with the Women's team for a Saturday practice or something, however, given the opportunity for a free weekend I usually take it.
Read full postOn February 23, 2012, I had the opportunity to serve as Grand Marshal at the Gatorade Duel at Daytona Beach Speedway. It was such a great feeling to come home! I saw some old friends and had the chance to meet a lot of the drivers like Kurt and Kyle Busch. It was such a cool opportunity to start the race and to ride over 100 mph on the track in the pace car! Thank you to Gatorade and to all my fans for your support! Jeah!!
