NYC Fastskin3 Trip

The other day I had the opportunity to be a part of a the unveiling of the Fastskin 3 for Speedo. It was my first ever appearance as a Speedo athlete and I had no idea what to expect. I arrived in New York on the evening of November 29th. Dana Vollmer and I were on the same flight from San Francisco and neither of us knew it until we saw each others names on our itineraries the night before. Excited to Join the Speedo Team!

I have been wearing speedo since before I can remember. My parents had me in the pool as an infant and I started swimming lessons when I was around three years old. I even remember the exhilarating feeling of putting my head underwater on my own for the first time. Shout out to Paducah Swim Team!

Last weekend, I surprised the Paducah Swim Team in Paducah, Kentucky! The team had about 70 swim team members. I signed autographs, took pictures with them and then spent some time coaching the kids. They presented me with a "Duke of Paducah" certificate signed by the Mayor, which was also pretty cool!! I would like to give a big "JEAH" out to the coaches and kids of the Paducah Swim Team! Thanks for having me!

Training Camp

Training Camp in Knoxville is going well. We have been here for seven days so far. Everyone is working hard. We all work to make improvements and perfect certain things. Yesterday we got the afternoon off, which was nice to relax. I have to pack again soon because we leave the country soon for a second training camp. I'm really excited and just trying to enjoy every minute and have fun!

Where it all started

After spending a couple of days at home experiencing holiday nostalgia with all of my old friends, I feel like it is a great time to go over some of my days as an age grouper/novice swimmer!

My Olympics

It was easy for me to rank these Olympic Games because I had two other Olympics ('04, '08) to compare it to. The 2012 London Olympics was hands down the best one.
